ESI Management

Open LexGo AI →

Electronically stored information from intake through production — ingestion, deduplication, AI-assisted review, privilege review, and bates-stamped production sets, all anchored to the matter.

What it is

ESI Management is the LexGo AI module for everything between "the documents arrive" and "the production goes out." It handles ingestion of any electronic source — email archives, file shares, mobile exports, cloud drives, chat platforms — runs deduplication, indexing, and content extraction, and presents documents in a review interface where AI tagging accelerates first-pass relevance and privilege review.

It's built for the way modern matters actually look — high-volume, multi-source, mixed-format — without forcing the matter team into a separate platform that doesn't talk to anything else.

How it works

Sources are ingested through standard connectors or by direct upload, with custodian metadata preserved. The processing engine deduplicates, extracts text and metadata, OCRs scanned content, and threads email conversations. Reviewers see documents in a familiar coding interface, with AI-assisted tagging that learns from reviewer decisions and accelerates as the population narrows.

Privilege and work-product review run through dedicated workflows with tag separation and reviewer permissioning. Production sets are exported with bates numbering, redactions burned-in, and a privilege log generated automatically.

Capabilities

Multi-source ingestion

Email archives, file shares, mobile exports, cloud drives, chat platforms — ingested with custodian metadata intact.

Processing engine

Dedup, text extraction, OCR, email threading, and metadata indexing — runs server-side at production scale.

AI-assisted review

Continuous active learning from reviewer decisions sharpens relevance ranking — first-pass review compresses by an order of magnitude.

Privilege workflow

Dedicated privilege and work-product review tracks with tag separation, reviewer permissioning, and automatic privilege log generation.

Productions

Bates-stamped production sets with redactions burned-in, configurable load files, and chain-of-custody manifest.

Matter integration

Documents and metadata flow directly into Case Management — exhibits, deposition prep, and motion practice all draw from the same record.
